Acquired in 2021, Shatford Lake in Manitoba is located less than 5 km from the producing Tanco Mine (lithium, tantalum, cesium, beryllium). Reliable data from Tanco is difficult to obtain due to its ownership by a Chinese company, but it is considered the world’s richest lithium-producing mine.

CBLT is focused on lithium exploration within the Winnipeg River-Cat Lake pegmatite field. Historical explorations have identified multiple pegmatite dykes with indications of LCT-type (lithium, cesium, tantalum) pegmatites.
